The Kids’ League is a family-run program that has supported children and
families in Westford since 1997!
Built by educators Paul and Carol Noland, our program is rooted in experience, care, and strong relationships.
What began as a small program has grown over the years, but our purpose remains the same: creating a safe, welcoming place where children feel known, valued and encouraged to grow. Six of our seven children have worked at Kids’ League, helping continue the family atmosphere that has shaped our program for nearly 30 years.

1997 | Where It All Began
The Kids’ League began in 1997 as a small after-school andsummer program in Westford called the Ivy League LearningCenter. Paul Noland, an elementary school teacher with a master’s degree in education, was asked to serve as director.
1998 | A Turning Point
Just over a year later, the original owners decided to close the program. Rather than see families left without care, Paul and his wife, Carol—educators at heart and parents of seven—stepped in and took over the program.
Early 2000s | Growing with Purpose Growth
came slowly at first, but families spread the word
about the care, connection, and attention given to each
child. Enrollment grew year after year as Kids’ League
became a trusted part of the Westford community.
The Name Change | The Kids’ League Is Born
After being asked to change the program’s name, “Ivy”
became “Kids,” and The Kids’ League was officially
born—marking a new chapter with the same
heart and values.
A Family Program | Then and Now
Six of the Noland’s seven children have worked at Kids’
League over the years, growing up alongside the program
and helping shape its warm, family-centered environment.
Today | More Than a Program
More than 25 years later, over 3,000 children have walked
through our doors. While we’re proud of our reputation,
what matters most is our impact—creating a safe,
welcoming place that builds character, confidence,
and lifelong connections.
